In situations of transfer of ownership of the animal to a new owner (eg one who has received the pet by donation, inheritance, legacy or following sharing) there is, by law, a period of 15 days for the holder inform SIAC, in order to promote the registration of the new title at SIAC, by an accredited veterinarian, by a person accredited before SIAC, by the parish council or by the city council.
