For animals (dogs, cats and ferrets) born after October 25, 2019, identification of pet animals, by marking and registering with SIAC, must be performed within 120 days (4 months) after birth. In the case of animals born before October 25, 2019: - As the transitional period has expired, registration is mandatory now for all Canids. - The transitional period for Cats and Ferrets is established in No. 2 of Article 29 and ends on October 25, 2022.
- Dogs or Cats Health Bulletin with valid rabies vaccination; - Proof of electronic identification (SIAC registration form); - Citizen card or identity card and tax number of the holder;
- Companion dog - Dog for economic purposes (including watchdog and sheepdog) - Dog for military purposes - Dog for scientific research - Hunting dog - Guide dog - Potentially dangerous dog - Dangerous dog - Cat
- Health bulletin of dogs or cats with valid rabies vaccination; - Proof of electronic identification (SIAC Form); - Declaration of transfer of ownership (request from the Parish Council) signed by the previous owner and the new owner, where the first certifies that he has given the animal to the second; - Citizen card or identity card and tax number of the new owner;
The identification of pet animals consists of marking the pet animal through the implantation of a transponder / microchip (or any other system authorized for the species in question) and its registration on the SIAC platform.
