How long do I have to register my pet my pet at SIAC? What are the deadlines for doing so?

For animals (dogs, cats and ferrets) born after October 25, 2019, identification of pet animals, by marking and registering with SIAC, must be performed within 120 days (4 months) after birth. In the case of animals born before October 25, 2019: - As the transitional period has expired, registration is mandatory now for all Canids. - The transitional period for Cats and Ferrets is established in No. 2 of Article 29 and ends on October 25, 2022.

What is animal identification?
