THE MAGICIAN - Center for Social, Cultural and Recreational Support

The Mágico - Center for Social Support, Culture and Recreation is an institution of social solidarity, with headquarters in the place of Giesteira, whose objectives are the occupation of children's free time, support for the elderly and the development of social activities, recreational and cultural. Founded on November 25, 1994, from the mobilization of a group of parents faced with the need to respond to the difficulties experienced in relation to the occupation of their children's free time, after school hours, it has developed several social support actions in constituent locations: Maçoida, Giesteira and Rio Côvo. Its mission is to develop and provide appropriate responses to social needs and expectations, through personalized intervention and excellence, from the nursery to the elderly, seeking to satisfy customers and significant people, employees and the community in general. It aims to be an IPSS recognized for the excellence of its services, to contribute to the reduction of social differences, to guarantee its sustainability and that of the surrounding community.
